Respite Centre PACIS (Parents Advocating for Inclusion Children with Disabilities in Society), the first of its kind on the island, located in the northern district, Chance, Portsmouth, will offer day-care services for children with severe disabilities.
Scope of Work: SCL is responsible for providing full consulting services in architecture/engineering design and supervision. The consultancy addresses pertinent issues as it relates to design, works contract and technical inspection/supervision.
The project consists of the construction of a two storey concrete building with a usable area of approximately 4,665 sq. ft plus 600 sq. ft for stair and ramp.
The structure provides the basic amenities – washrooms, laundry, storage rooms, and house specialized rooms such as kitchen, multi-sensory room, doctor’s office, mobility room, isolation room, exercise room, administrative office, and dormitory/bedrooms.
The main structure’s yard works includes installation of a perimeter fence and space allocation for gardening and exterior play activities.VIEW PROJECTS
